Ismail Azzaoui is a Belgian midfielder of Moroccan descent who currently plays for Wolfsburg on loan from Tottenham Hotspur. He was chosen to be an alternative to De Bruyne, transferred to Manchester City. In the 2014/15 campaign he has been a key player of the Spurs academy, he has played for the U18s and the U21s and has reached the semi-final of the FA Youth Cup. Elegant attacking midfielder he possesses a great technique and a dangerous shot from the distance. He has represented Belgium at youth level but is also eligible for Morocco. In 2015 with Belgium has reached the semi-final of the 2015 UEFA U17 Championship. He has played five matches and scored two goals and was considered one of the best players of the tournament.
